It is a great pleasure to welcome you to our school. We are delighted that you are considering our school for your child's education. We are a successful day and boarding school set in more than 65 acres of Berkshire countryside. The ethos of our school is very simple - Happy children thrive. Our attention is not only on providing academic excellence but in delivering excellence in pastoral care too. Horris Hill is part of Forfar Education and as such is benefiting from significant investment in facilities and resourcing for the benefit of the pupils. This is such an exciting time for the school. Horris Hill is a small school, big on ambition! We are ambitious for our pupils, for our staff and for our future. Our small community is friendly and supportive and each child is educated with breadth and imagination in wonderful surroundings. Children are given the freedom to be children, to explore, play and grow inside and outside the classroom. There is no such thing as a 'Horris Hill child'! All children are unique and our experienced staff will educate your child to achieve the best in education for them.

History of Horris Hill

2023
From September 2023, Horris Hill School welcomed girls in to all year groups! We are delighted to be extending our excellence in education.

In September 2022, we welcomed our 11th Headmaster since the school's founding, as Rob Stewart joined us from the Oratory Prep School.

Welcome two year olds! Horris Hill now has nursery provision for girls and boys aged 2 and above. Our excellence in EYFS care will be extended to these younger years.
