Senior School Destinations

We never forget that your child is on a journey, and will very soon be 13, then quickly 18.

We will make sure that they make the most of the opportunities available to them and that they have the best chance of entering one of the top senior schools.

Historically, as a boys school, children have gone to over 20 public schools in the past five years with our top seven being Winchester, Harrow, Eton, Radley, Charterhouse, Marlborough and Sherborne. These schools are renowned for their academic excellence, and we are proud to be part of our pupil’s paths toward these respected institutions.

We will prepare your child for entry to a senior school; we will give you guidance as to which school might be the best for your child and we will ensure that the transition is as smooth and effective as possible. We don’t just prepare them academically; we offer comprehensive guidance on which schools may be the best fit for their unique strengths and preferences.

We have very close links with the top public schools and regularly have visits from Heads, Deputy Heads and Housemasters to give talks and to work with our children, often before exams. Keeping a good working relationship with senior schools means that we will be able to help you choose a school for your child based not only on their academic ability but also on the environment they will best suit.
