Settling in Sessions

Before your child starts at Horris Hill Nursery, we will invite you and your child to attend a minimum of two settling in sessions. These sessions last approximately 90 minutes, and usually begin between 9:00am and 10:30am.

These help you and your child to get to know the Horris Hill nursery team members and other children at the nursery. They also help your child to get used to short periods of time at the nursery before building up to a full session, becoming accustomed to the new environment. Children are welcome to bring a cuddly toy or other comfort item during these settling in sessions.

We ask you to help us gather as much information about your child as we can during these sessions.
