Weekends and Evenings

Saturday is a busy school day, optional for years 3 and 4, regardless of whether they are a boarder or day pupil. Children attend academic lessons in the morning and take part in sports fixtures after lunch.

Many boarders remain with us over the weekend and have and enjoy a busy and enjoyable time, with a range of activities and trips to keep our residents entertained.  They are never bored, that’s for sure!  Our trips include theme parks, bowling alleys, the cinema, theatre, museums, professional sport matches, riding, high rope courses, ice skating and much more.

We also offer lots of on-site activities, ranging from tree climbing and den building in our woods, to Bake Off competitions!

Evening Activities

Our boarding students have a range of activities to take part in after their supper, as well as set time to do their studies.  Evenings are also a time for friends to catch up, play board games and enjoy some downtime.  Film nights and games nights are always very popular.  Evenings are supervised by our caring boarding staff who will take time to catch up with all the students to check on their wellbeing.
