A Typical Day in the Nursery

The nursery day begins with a Free Flow session for morning arrivals, before Circle Time at 9:15am. The next session varies throughout the week between PE, music or Rugbytots.

After our morning snack, we move on to an activity together, before its time to go outside. Lunch is at midday, and Nursery join the Lower School (Years R – 2) in the school dining room for a nutritious hot meal.

Lunch is followed by Storytime, then once we’ve welcomed those joining us for the afternoon session, it’s back outside – with 65 acres of school grounds to explore we try and get outside as much as we can every day.

Our afternoon snack is followed by independent learning, another Storytime and then supper at 4:30pm. The Nursery day finishes at 6:00pm.

 However, no day is the same, and we often have special events and sessions to bring some new excitement into the day.
